18 year old Shivanii Ray, international speaker, author, coach, singer songwriter was forced to leave her home in the US aged 10. For the next 6 months she and her family travelled across the world, and it became a life changing adventure that lasted 5 years.
During that 5 years, Shivanii was global schooled, and found herself being attracted to the speaking, coaching and training world which she was introduced to at a very young age.
Shivanii was no stranger to the stage or recording studio. She was asked to sing a small part in the song "One Prayer" by her god father Karl Anthony, she performed in the music video which went viral on YouTube. At age 7 she was asked to co Emcee a charity event with 2500 people in the audience from that moment, she knew that the stage was always going to be a part of her life.
While in India, she helped her parents facilitate the Mantra Tour bringing people to India showing them the Gold glimpses of India, which include the smiling faces of children in the slums, of course the Great Taj Mahal and so much more, during this Personal development retreat.
In March 2015 she was invited to perform with Karl Anthony in front of 5000 plus people at a religious gathering for Shivratri in Junagadh, India. One of the youngest and only female singer to have been given permission to sing.
One of her favorite places to sing is at the evening fire ceremony, Aarti, on the banks of the River Ganges at the Parmarth Niketan Ashram for Pooja Swami and his followers where she has been visiting annually since age 10.
In 2011, Shivanii wrote a song called Counting Smiles, after a visit to the slums. On the way to the slums, a member of the Mantra Tour remarked how emotional they would get, her dad reminded them, it was not about feeling sorry for them, it was to recognize the joy, the sparkle in their eyes, and their beautiful smiles. This experience was the inspiration for her to write Counting Smiles.
Just after her 14th Birthday, Shivanii undertook a home school project to write and product her first album, called Spreading Love. The album was completed just before her 15th Birthday.
Aged 15, Shivanii opted not to take the traditional school route, she knew what her skills and talents and passions were and opted to bypass school and jump right into an apprenticeship with renowned speaker and trainer Clinton Swaine.
For the next 2.5 years she travelled the world honing her stage skills and coaching entrepreneurs in UK, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, India and US.
Today, Shivanii, aged 18, is teaching teens and adults alike about the importance of discovering who they are and tuning into their gifts, and then be willing to transform mindset, beliefs, attitudes, self-esteem and habits that hold them back.
